Kabupaten Pamekasan, Jawa Timur, diterjang angin kencang dalam kurun waktu dua hari terakhir. Sedikitnya 22 unit bangunan berupa rumah, dapur dan fasilitas umum mengalami kerusakan atas bencana tersebut.
“Jumlah bangunan rusak akibat cuaca buruk berupa hujan deras yang disertai angin kencang ini, merupakan hasil pendataan yang kami lakukan hingga malam ini,” kata Kabid Kedaruratan dan Logistik pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Pemkab Pamekasan Achmad Zainullah, dilansir Antara, Jumat (27/12/2024).
Ia menjelaskan, puluhan bangunan rusak itu tersebar di tiga desa di Kecamatan Galis, yakni Desa Ponteh, Konang, dan Desa Galis. Rinciannya, di Desa Konang ada 16 rumah, Desa Ponteh 2 rumah, dan Desa Galis 3 rumah.

“Selain itu, satu bangunan berupa fasilitas umum yang juga dilaporkan mengalami kerusakan,” kata Zainul.
Selain merusak puluhan bangunan, hujan deras disertai angin kencang juga menyebabkan banjir di beberapa lokasi. Di antaranya di Perumahan Nyalabu Indah, dan di Proppo, Pamekasan.
Namun, sambung Zainul, banjir yang terjadi di dua lokasi berbeda itu hanya berupa genangan akibat luapan saluran air.
“Saat ini sudah surut dan hujan juga mulai reda,” katanya.
Zainul mengimbau agar warga meningkatkan kewaspadaan. Sebab, lanjutnya, berdasarkan prakiraan Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) cuaca buruk masih berpotensi terjadi di Kabupaten Pamekasan dan sejumlah kabupaten lain di Jawa Timur dalam beberapa hari ke depan.
“Kami memang telah membentuk tim khusus penanganan bencana, tapi kewaspadaan oleh masyarakat harus ditingkatkan, demi untuk mengurangi risiko apabila terjadi bencana,” kata Zainullah.
Sementara itu, berdasarkan catatan BPBD Pemkab Pamekasan, jenis bencana alam yang sering terjadi di kabupaten ini berupa angin kencang, banjir, tanah longsor, dan angin puting beliung.
